From those who received . . .

Hello Jacquie,

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the wonderful job that your staff is doing! Just recently, I decided that I wanted to donate my car that is no longer running. Unfortunately, I was given the run around when I tried to do so with a large charity (who has been on Good Morning America, etc....). The car was at a service station nowhere near my house and yet I was told I'd have to be physically present for pickup. I was told to call back so that they could decide if they wanted it. I was told to call back because their computers were down. On and on for about five days now....
So, after much frustration I saw that you towed the same day and thought I'd give it a try. Meredith's quick response to my comment, "if you can pick it up today, you can have it," was amazing! She called me back within five minutes and told me that the trucks would be there (without me!) to tow within the next few hours! Meredith not only provided fantastic customer service, but she made me feel happy again about my choice to donate! Thank you Meredith and thank you Jacquie for your time and effort!

Best regards,
Desiree C.

Dear Jacquie,

This is just a little note to let you know how much we appreciate all the hard work you and the Center for Car Donations have given to the Brigade.
Through your efforts we have been able to purchase equipment and uniforms to outfit the members. Additionally we are well on our way to finalizing our training for our Memorial Honor Details charged with providing final Military Honors to deceased American Veterans.
We are also able to pay the monthly rent on our training facility in Santa Anna and are now in the process of training our Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT) and should have all members trained in CPR and First Aid by the end of January 2007. Without your help none of this would have been possible.
You are not only helping the Brigade but the entire community of Southern California by providing the funding necessary to accomplish our missions.
By the way I have spoken often with Ed Dougherty the President of Chapter 75 of the Special Forces Association and The Executive Director of the San Diego Veterans Museum and Memorial Center about the assistance that you are providing to them. Through your efforts Chapter 75 was able to provide over $1,500.00 in direct monetary assistance to the Family Readiness Group of the 301st Psychological Operations Company (Airborne) while their husbands, fathers, brothers and sisters were deployed to Iraq. This is just one of the projects about which your company should be extremely proud.
ADM Rod Melendez the Executive Director of the Veterans Museum and Memorial Center and the funds that your Company was able to provide helps tremendously with the education programs of the Museum.
Again, let me say thank you to you and the members of your organization for all that you do to help not only our veterans but their families.

Sincerely,
Steve P. Campbell
